The Foundation will notify the family or individual of your thoughtfulness but will not reveal the amount of your gift.

Phone

Call (208) 336-2996 to make a donation by phone. A Wildland Firefighter Foundation staff member will assist you with the process and answer any questions you may have about your contribution.

Securities

We prefer gifts of securities to be made via electronic transfer, rather than mailing actual securities certificates.

If you are giving a security, please verify with your broker that the security is eligible for electronic delivery over the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system. This works for most securities, but some securities have specific transfer instructions.

Please note that we will liquidate all donations of securities as soon as possible. The date of your gift is the date on which your electronic transfer is received into the Wildland Firefighter Foundation account. The tax-deductible value of your gift is the average share price on the date of your gift multiplied by the number of shares given.

Once you’ve made a transfer, please contact Dina Pfeifer by phone at (208) 336-2996 or by email at info@wffoundation.org to inform the Wildland Firefighter Foundation Foundation of the proposed donation and to ensure that you receive a prompt receipt of your gift for your tax records.
