We also have available a CD with a video clip and PowerPoint that tells the story of what the Foundation does for the wildland community. Give us a call at (208) 336-2996, or email if you are interested. We have other things in store for our 5th year anniversary...stay tuned and JOIN NOW! THE 52 CLUB

Joining the 52 Club is your "power of one" opportunity. This Foundation is supported by individuals. We do not receive government money - we are here because hundreds of you choose to support each other. We are simply the funnel of the wildland community to the families of firefighters who are seriously injured or are killed in the line of duty.

Join now online, or call our office at 208-336-2996.

A buck a week to help a buddy. It's that easy.
Be a part of the "compassion that spreads like wildfire."

Every summer we hear the news that makes us heartsick:  wildland firefighters die in the line of duty. They are killed in burnovers, vehicle accidents, helicopters, tanker crashes and heart attacks. Their lives touch many family members, friends, and co-workers. Survivors are left to struggle with incomprehensible loss and the financial burden that comes from fatalities and injuries.

Who will help them after their firefighter has paid the ultimate price? The light at the end of that tunnel is the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. It takes your help to keep doing this good work.  Since the Foundation was formed, we have given away more than 1.5 million dollars in emergency grants to injured firefighters and families of fallen firefighters.

Almost everyone can afford to donate just $1 per week for a year. That is $52 for an annual donation. Challenge your buddies, friends, family, and communities to join in. You’ll get a patch, a pin, and a helmet sticker, but what you really get is knowing that we'll be there when things go bad for our firefighters.

Join the 52 Club individually or your company or organization will be listed as a Gold Member when at least 75% of all employees enroll.

THE 52 CLUB STORY
Dave Hannibal is the brain child of the 52 Club. Dave lost 5 of his Firefighters while traveling
to the Hayman Fire in 2002. He became a
board member of the WFF. He saw the
financial struggle every fire season. To help raise money he thought that if everyone could give a dollar a week for 52 weeks, an annual donation of $52 we wouldn't have to
raise money in the summer while
working with families and helping
do what we do.

I have loved firefighters and folks who
support them. I knew this would take off.

I want this Foundation to be financially
solvent, so that when our fallen firefighter's kids need help with collage, there will be
money there for them.

This Foundation is growing by
leaps and bounds. I think each time we reach out and help, people realize what the Foundation can do.

There are no words worthy to express the honor I feel that you entrust the Foundation
with your $52. To know that so many of you have chosen to help with the dream that we, collectively, can make a difference when a wildland firefighter needs help the most.

I wish...
you could hear the voices of
those we help.
I wish...
you could attend Family Day and feel the
healing of a community of survivors that
long to stay connected to fire.
I wish...
you could see the kid’s faces,
their life’s a little different.
I wish...
you could go into the
burn centers and hospitals.

Because of your $52
we can show up to help.

We all have accomplished much
because you took
the time to join the 52 club.

Please know that you have helped….

Thanks so much.
Vicki Minor

Ken Perry has raised more than $70,000
for the Foundation by running
more than 150 miles.
He truly is our inspiration for
"The Power of One."
